Yolande Zola Zoli van der Heide

Yolande Zola Zoli van der Heide is thinking through regenerative time via death life cycles with artist G and studying the Un/Chrono/logical timeline tool with Another Roadmap Africa Cluster toward the 2026 collection display at Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven, the Netherlands. She is senior exhibitions curator at Van Abbemuseum and was previously deputy director at Casco Art Institute: Working for the Commons in Utrecht where she began as an intern in 2008. 

At Van Abbemuseum she is curator to: solo exhibition Ima-Abasi Okon (forthcoming 2025); travelling solo exhibition Sung Hwan Kim: Protected by roof and right-hand muscles (2023 -2026); group exhibition Positions #7: Everything worthwhile is done with other people (2023); collection display A Lasting Truth Is Change (2022) and co-editor to the eponymous publication (K. Verlag, Van Abbemuseum, 2022). She is also co-editor to: Laure Prouvost, This Means Love (Lisson Gallery, Van Abbemuseum, 2021); and Unlearning Exercises: Art Organizations as Sites for Unlearning, (Valiz with Casco Art Institute: Working for the Commons, 2018)

Yolande is an editorial board member of L’Internationale Online and is a board member at Kunstinstituut Melly, Rotterdam.
