Alessandra Saviotti

Alessandra Saviotti(IT, 1982) is currently a PhD candidate at the Liverpool John Moores University (UK) where she is looking at how Socially Engaged Practices and Arte Útil represent a real alternative for furthering change within the institutions of education. She is currently toolkit editor for Decentralising Political Economies (in collaboration with the Institute of Art & Technology at the LJMU, the Whitworth and the Asociación de Arte Útil), and she is a member of Art Workers Italia, the first autonomous and non-partisan association in Italy created with the aim of giving voice to contemporary art workers.
