Nuraini Juliastuti
Nuraini Juliastuti is a trans-local practising researcher and writer, focusing on art organisations, activism, illegality, alternative cultural production, and vernacular archiving. In 1999, Nuraini co-founded the Kunci Study Forum & Collective in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Education. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Worlding Public Cultures project, based in the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis, University of Amsterdam.
In October 2021, Nuraini and Carine organized the Amsterdam Assembly - Letting Go of Having to Talk All the Time which also saw the launch of the podcast Connecting Oceans. Nuraini and Carine are members of the IMAGINART research project.
