Eva Susova

Eva Susova is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily with performance, sound, sculpture, and writing. Educated in dance, choreography, and visual arts, her works allude to performative installations that strive to endorse the queering of space, time, and methodologies of art display. Her research focuses on embodied knowledge, the history of female voices, and their intersection with ecology. eva is an alumna of Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam (2021-2023).

She obtained her MA in Fine Arts at Sandberg Institute and BA in Choreography at the SNDO at Amsterdam University of Arts. Her works and collaborations have been exhibited, amongst many, in Kunsteverein Amsterdam, TAC- Temporary Art Center Eindhoven, RongWrong Amsterdam, bologna cc. Amsterdam , Het Restort Groningen, Arti et Amicitae Amsterdam , Uferstudios Berlin, STAMM studios Porentruy, Veem House for Performance and Forum für Kunst Heidelberg.

Eva is a visiting lecturer at Gerrit Rietveld and Sandberg Instituut Amsterdam (NL), AKI Enschede (NL), ArtEZ Zwolle (NL), SNDO- the School for New Dance Development in Amsterdam (NL). In 2017 they co-founded Jacuzzi, an artist-run space at the crossroads of performance, visual arts, and time-based media in Amsterdam.
