BEAR Fine Art / Finals 2025
2 3 4 and 5 of July
From 10:30am till 21pm in OUDE KRAAN 26, Arnhem
The graduation exhibition chewed, unchewed will take place from the 2nd till the 5th of July 2025, presenting works by the 20 graduates from BEAR (Base for Experiment, Art & Research) Fine Art ArtEZ, Arnhem. The title of the exhibition chewed, unchewed denotes a state of constant metabolism. A place where process is prioritised ahead of the end result. The exhibition concept revolves around the environment of the mouth and by transference the body’s function and behaviour. The graduates from 2025 are showing their teeth in this exhibition, chewing and re-chewing urgent themes. Whether social or personal, many of the ideas processed in the graduation works are transferred through speaking, eating or swallowing. In a wide range of media, spanning performance, video, painting, textile, sculpture and food, all the works in exhibition will give you something to chew on.
