On Saturday 8 April the fourth edition of ArtEZ B!NGO will take place. A friendly and free festival with a line-up of almost 20 acts, varying from performance to installation and video. All works have been created and produced by some 115 students from 6 different ArtEZ departments.
B!NGO is a project of the ArtEZ studies Jazz & Pop, Dance, Theatre, Creative Writing, BEAR (Visual Arts) and Music Theatre. Students formed their own groups on the Monday before the event, based on shared interests. Each group has at least three disciplines. Each group takes the challenge to make a max. 10 minutes’ theater concert, installation, film or performance in a week’s time. Coaches from all disciplines are there to assist and inspire the students during the process.
You can see the results in and around the ArtEZ Rietveld building (Onderlangs 9) during the B!NGO festival, one day only. There will be writers, visual artistis, composers, actors, musicians, dancers. In this rich context of opportunities to connect, you can expect the unexpected.
B!NGO | many short performances in 1 afternoon, partly taking place in sea containers. Each performance will be repeated 3-4 times, following the programme you will receive on location. Come and see the work of young artists, soon entering Dutch museums, concert halls, theatres, and festivals.
